In America today, are we the United States or the divided states? With the recent election of Donald Trump, numerous cases of police brutality involving white police officers, minority victims and racial movements have become more common. It’s hard to see the positive through all the negatives. The image that America once had of being the land of opportunity, freedom and unity seems to be slipping away. A few Grand View students were shown three images and they voiced their opinions and explained what those images represented to them.
